I've put off having one of these, certain that "blog" was equal to "waste-of-time." But lately I've come to wonder if someone, somewhere might be happy to engage in conversation with me. I think I am finally coming to realize the internet's power to connect different thinkings -- I suppose if one were to call me something at all, a "thinking" is perhaps as good a word as any. Are there any more out there? Any more thinkings looking for links and thinks? It's to you I am writing. Please respond with your thinks and wonderings. Write back with you opines and learns. I don't think it possible there is only one of us . . . you see? Already we are "us" and "we." Please send word.
I'll be somewhere near Sirius.

We are glad you have joined this brave new world. Come visit us "virtually" in California.
Reading about Walt Whitman this morning in the quiet of a Sabbath Day, and thought much about you, your depth and your wanderings, your heart and your poetry. The world needs good poets....
What's an opine?
Love you,
Mom
Believe it or not, Casey, I finally got to hear the talk by Terryl Givens, given two full years ago, but I relished every word of it. I want to listen to it again, so I don't lose the truths he shared. Now, on to Art of Heaven, by Callister. He was our last S. Conf visitor, and I delighted in his free flowing poetic style in the adult mtg on Sat. He recited a full 20 minute poem.
Thanks for thinking of me.
